Jupiter 1 cards
On the left you can see the SMD version of the Jupiter 1 card. On the right the Gold card version of the same card.
Jupiter 1 cards use AVR type processors, just like the Fun cards. Only for the Jupiter 1 it is a 90S2343 processor. Jupiter 1 cards are available with and without external memory. On the SMD version card here, you can see the 2 chips, one being the processor, the other one being the external memory.
One drawback for these cards. There are significantly less files available for the Jupiter 1 than for the Fun card. That makes these cards less desirable. But if you have a good working set of files, just stick to them and update them yourself.
