Jupiter 2 cards
As far as I know, the Jupiter 2 is not yet available in Gold card version. That will however only be a matter of time I guess. The Jupiter 2 is equipped with the 90S8535 processor which is a AVR type processor. Furthermore, you will find an external eeprom of 8 Kb (24C64) on the Jupiter 2. The connector on the bottom left side of the card can be used to connect an external logger to the card.
The Jupiter 2 is more versatile than the Jupiter 1 because of the larger memory for one. But more so because of the larger support in terms of available files for this card type.
If it comes to AVR type processor cards though, the Fun card is the one to go for. No Jupiter even comes close in terms of file availability for all different coding systems.
