Piccard II or Silver card
This is the big brother of the GoldWafer PIC card. This card has gained popularity mainly due to the developments in the DS9 project with its 3-in-1 file capabilities. The main characteristics are a faster and more powerful processor (16F876) than on the PIC cards. And a larger eeprom (24C64 instead of 24C16).
Below you see the Piccard II in SMD version (left) and its plastic equivalent, the Silvercard, on the right. Both are equiped with 8Kb external memory.
Below is the same card, but this time with extra external memory in the form of a 24C128 (16Kb) Eeprom. It is the Silvercards bigger brother, and it's called the Greencard. On the left is the normal Greencard, on the right the same card in another look, the Green Galaxy.
And this down here, is the same version with even bigger memory: 256 Kbit. It is the Green Galaxy 2.
