| I receive more and more emails each day. I get some 15 - 25 emails a day, depending on the day of the week. I allways try to answer every single email, but it is costing me lots of time. Too much even. The answers to many of the questions i get, can be found in several satellite boards, or on other sites. You just need to do some searching and lots of reading. So in order to get some time for myself to spend at my hobby (instead of answering emails), I introduce the following rules: 1. first visit a Satellite board (click the Forum button above) to try and find your answers there. I am a regular visitor of several Dutch, English & German boards, so you may expect me (and others) to answer questions there. 2. do NOT email me with questions about receivers. I know only little about receivers. In fact I only know something about my own receivers (Humax 5400 & Nokia MM9500). All the rest I am absolutely unfamiliar with. 3. do NOT ask me for keys or files, nor for links to key sites. Enter your email address on the mailing lists of all the keys- & files sites that you can find. I will not answer to questions about keys or files or links at all. 4. make sure your email address is correct. I get many questions from people that use invalid email addresses. It is very time consuming to answer all emails and I hate it when I am spending all that time, just to find out that the email is returned "undeliverable" after some time. 5. Keep it SHORT please!!! So only if you have relevant questions for me personally, mail me. Of course, I still welcome emails with suggestions about the site, or software or links to add to the site. | |
