Black Progger for Funcards |
|
| Programming Funcards with BlackPro. There is no real difference in programming a Funcard or a Piccard, so I decided to write the procedure down only once, with the Funcard as a sample. To program a Funcard, you select Atmel from the menu at the top of your screen. If you are in doubt what card you have, you can click the area at the bottom left of the screen where you see the word BlackProg. This will trigger automatic processor detection on the card. This screenshot below shows you the result of a Funcard detection. This function only detects the processor, ,not the EEprom. ![]() If you have another type of card than the one being shown, you can select other card types by clicking the left or right arrows, to browse forward or backward through the card list (see below). ![]() Because I am going to program a Funcard 2 as a sample now, I am going back to the right card (see below). ![]() Now click the Open File icon in the bottom left of you program window. A file selection dialog window will be opened to let you pick the correct file (see below). In this same way, you select Flash and External EEprom, and if required, also an Internal EEprom file. ![]() After selecting all necessary files, you should first Erase your card before programming it (see below). ![]() Answer Ja to tell the program that you are sure you want to erase the card (see below). ![]() When the erase of the card is complete, you will be notified (see below). Now press OK. ![]() Now click Write to start the actual programming (see below). ![]() Now you just wait until the card is ready. The programming progress is graphically illustrated by a progress bar (see below). ![]() Success | |
